Let’s start with the "MINDSET"
Hi, There👋👋 Hope your week is going with a bang!
First of all, welcome to this newsletter again! Today we are going to talk about MINDSET and why it is very important in our journey.
Do you ever think that mindset has its own definition? Yes, it is… One day while I was reading about mindset on the internet, I landed on one of the blog articles where the writer crafted mindset its own definition, it’s something like this.
Your mindset is a set of beliefs that shape how you make sense of the world and yourself. It influences how you think, feel, and behave in any given situation.
Basically in the simple world MINDSET is all about- a series of self-perceptions or beliefs which we hold about ourselves.
We all have two types of mindset.
One is a Fixed mindset and another one is a growth mindset.
If we have a fixed mindset, we believe our abilities are fixed traits and therefore can't be changed. We may also believe that our talent and intelligence alone leads to success, and effort is not required.
On the other hand, if we have a growth mindset, we believe that our talents and abilities can be developed over time through effort and persistence.
Now comes the next question: Why is MINDSET very important in our journey?
One quote we always read on the internet- “You will become the way you think”
Right!! This Quote is very famous.
But what do we need to think?
That’s where the mindset plays a very important role.
If we have a negative, fixed mindset in life we often put invisible limitations on ourselves that prevent us from achieving throughout life. For example- We are always afraid to take the first step when we are starting something new.
Do you know why this happens?
This is because your fixed mindset tells us that we are unable to change the part of your brain that processes that first step and therefore we never take the first step and it never improves.
But, If we have a positive or growth mindset, we are more likely to get the things we want no matter how out of reach they are. For example, if we believe that one day we will be able to run a marathon but do not find ourselves generally athletic, we will work every day into your training until we have completed all the miles. This is because people with a growth mindset have proper belief systems that allow them to grow and develop and, eventually, achieve the things they want.
Now, one question comes: How to change the mindset?
The Mindset will automatically change when we will start taking things from a GROWTH perspective. If this happens then we do not need to think about the mindset. The mindset will develop automatically.
So we have to always look for growth. All we need to do is, just become better day by day. We have to defeat ourselves yesterday.
The day when it starts, the growth will start & our mindset will automatically fix.
That’s all for today.
I hope you enjoyed reading this mini-blog. Do let me know what you think about mindset? I love to hear from your side :)
Thank you so much. I will see you next Wednesday at 11 AM.
Until then.
